Pumkin Soup "A little old book review"

This adorable story, tells the tale of Cat, Duck and Squirrel. Everything is happy go lucky in the little white cabin in the woods. Each animal has their place in making pumpkin soup.
Then, one morning Duck decides he wants a change, he desires to stir their pumpkin soup instead of squirrel
This does not go over well and after a little bit of a scramble Duck leaves in a huff,
We follow the other two as they try and find where Duck could be.
The story ends with a reuniting and the realization that change is good and everyone can try different jobs. That is until... Duck tries to play the bagpipes!

This book has beautiful illustrations and is a delight to read. I love the flow of the words and all of the details through out.
*One note though, there is a small reference to witches in part of the book when squirrel and cat are trying to find their friend. When reading you can simply omit that and it makes no change in the story.
